Course Spotlight: Podcasting While Black

Ever thought about creating your own podcast? Chioke I'Anson, PhD will show you  how in AFAM 491: Podcasting While Black. The class will be offered in the fall as AFAM 491-907.

In addition to being a professor in the Department of African American Studies, I'Anson is currently the director of the VPM + ICA Community Media Center. He has worked with NPR and has a wealth of knowledge about podcasting and radio.

Three of I'Anson's students were recently featured by VCU News after being named finalists in an NPR podcasting contest.
