Dr. Bukola Usidame
Dr. Usidame received her Master’s and Ph.D. in Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in 2018. She recently completed an interdisciplinary postdoctoral training through the iCubed program, Health and Wellness in Aging Population Core. Her fellowship was housed in the VCU School of Medicine/School of Nursing. Her research interests focus on understanding the unintended consequences of tobacco control policies on health disparities and policies that address persistent tobacco use disparities. Her studies examine ways to improve policies that limit the extent of tobacco advertising in African American communities.
