Join the Department of African American Studies as we celebrate the student activists, organizers, and community builders who fought for the creation of the AFAM program here at VCU! The event will feature a performance by the Black Awakening Choir and an inaugural screening of a documentary on the lives and work of our founders. Food will be provided!
