Mignonne Guy to speak at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 52nd Annual Legislative Conference

Mignonne Guy, Phd., Associate Professor of African American Studies, will speak at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 52nd Annual Legislative Conference in partnership with the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.

Mignonne Guy, Phd., Associate Professor of African American Studies, will speak at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 52nd Annual Legislative Conference in partnership with the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. The House of Inclusion conference, scheduled for Friday, September 22, will include several presentations relating to health equity and the Black community.

Guy, whose research focuses on tobacco, menthol cigarettes, and ways in which the marketing of menthol cigarettes has targeted Black consumers, will speak on a panel titled "Eliminating Menthol Cigarettes: Advancing Health Equity & Saving Black Lives."
